I planted these Sarah Bernhardt Peonies last Summer and have been {im}patiently waiting for them to bloom ever since. This morning we finally cut our first bouquet. They are so fragrant, and they add such cheeriness to our dining room table. Well worth the wait.

I too love this flower. It remind me of my Grandma, who grew them on her farm many years ago.
What kind of camera do you use, Missy? You take such lovely pictures.
Blessings,
Krista
Sorry, Krista, I haven’t been checking for comments in quite awhile… Just saw your question today. We have a Canon 60D, which quite honestly I don’t even know how to use yet. I have yet to get a photography lesson from my brother so I can learn how to use the settings.
I just take photos on manual right now. We are really happy with it, though. We went without a camera for about 6 months, because we left it outside overnight in the rain (BIG WHOOPS!). It took us awhile to get the money to send it in for repairs… but once we did, it came back good as new. I realized, though, how much I missed our camera during that time. Photography is such a creative outlet. Thanks so much for your kind words!
Oh Miss!!! I love those flowers…. 😀 They smell amazing…
why not just a summer 2016 update of all your beautiful flowers….the 90 blossoms on the sarah bernheart bush! plus your wonderful remodel projects.
